We are well on our way to achieve this goal. Since it is the first activity, we do in a grand manner. So we have decided to do in two phases, one on 28.06.2008 and the other on 29.06.2008 Phase I - 28.06.08 On 28.06.2008, A service in the name of "We Care We Share" was conducted at Mani Hr.Sec.School, P.N.Palayam, Coimbatore. The Service was sponsored by PSR & Sons Silks, Coimbatore and conducted by Art of Living Foundation. Around 900 students from various orphanage schools from in and around coimbatore were offered the service. The event was started at 9.00 am & ended at 4.00 pm. We the RAHMANIACS of Coimbatore are really proud that we have taken part in it. We helped and worked for them right from Seating Arrangement, Food Distribution, Entertaining the children and in all possible ways. Art of Living Foundation had provided the children a thorough knowledge about Meditation, Prayer & its Power, Importance of Education and Personality Development and so on. They also brought an Entertainment in students by conducting Music & Dance Competition and Magic shows. They brought awareness in children about Self love, Self Esteem and Confidence, Responsibility and Commitment. Based on the children's performance, Gifts & Prizes were distributed to the winners. Phase II – 29.06.08 Education, the biggest gift you can give anybody! So, We had decided to do our Service at DON BOSCO ANBU ILLAM at Vellakinar, Thudiyalur. It is a house for the Houseless Street Children which was approved by the Provincial of Trichy. This is an extension of the same Anbu Illam at Ukkadam, Coimbatore. MINUTES OF OUR 1ST ACTIVITY Well, the first activity itself was amazing. We are very much happy about our first activity. The credit entirely goes to THE GOD ALMIGHTY. *Ella Pugazhum Eraivan Oruvanukey !!!* We started with a new spirit to provide something to those houseless children. When we reached there we were surprised to see them welcoming and cheering us. We were more energetic in our attitude. With that we became friendly and close with them. ♪♪ They introduced themselves and about ambition in their life. ♪♪ We distributed the notebooks, stationery kit and sweets which they were pleased to take them. ♪♪ We conducted an anthakshari among the children and it was very enjoyable to be with them. ♪♪ Even we entertained them by singing, making fun and so on. ♪♪ It was surprising to see them involving themselves without thinking about any of their miseries or worries. ♪♪ We played cricket with them and atmost fun with them. It was an unforgettable moment in each of our RAHMANIACS life. We really deserved for what we had worked for the past NINE meets. We are happy that on our TENTH meet we had done an activity.
