You are right. The pattern of the violin is indeed like "Toss the feather" That is a old Irish folk and thousands of people have used it, played it.
This is exactly why I love ARR as he as brought in a Irish folk and fused it with a Tamil folk kind of a youth song. This issue was discussed immediately after Sakkarakatti was release and people had even given the links for various versions of this piece.
