Recently had watched exclusive performance of Sivamani in Banagalore (Ganeshotsav) and we all know he uses any thing and everything to bring rhythms and sounds. One such he did was with spoons and forks in the concert, he had done this as always. But what caught me was the kind of rhythm he played in the concert and it was haunting that I have heard this somewhere. Now I git it. Its the song "Rassiya" from "Mangal Pande". And yes the background which starts at ~0:43 almost sounded the same. The verdict from the concert this guy is amazing and every audience was taken by surprise the way he performed. Again I was completely taken for his humility he shown through out.
