New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS) A host of Bollywood celebrities will take part in a
United Nations Millennium Campaign (UNMC) video to mobilise masses to fight
against poverty.

A.R. Rahman, Gulzar, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Jaideep Sahni, Kailash
Kher and Ranbir Kapoor will come together for the special video which will
also feature Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Pakistani
model-turned-actress Imaan Ali of 'Khuda Kay Liye' fame.

Produced by Tandav Films of 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' fame and directed by Meghna
Gulzar, the video is a Public Social Advertising (PSA) and is in production
stage.

The video will essentially focus on the global advocacy campaign called
'Stand Up And Take Action' alongside concentrating on popularising
Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

'The objective of this video is to make people aware and to make the
government wake up and take action to achieve the 8 MDGs. Celebrities from
all walks of life talk hard core facts in a communicative manner in the
video to reach people. This video will also be aired free of cost on major
Television channels,' Raaj Hiremath, Managing Director, Tandav Films told
IANS.

43 million people across the globe set up a world record October last year
by taking part in the campaign that was earlier called 'Stand Up and Speak
Out'.

Celebrities and sportsmen like Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid
have also been associated with the campaign.
