But, I doubt there figures....They have been always critical of rahman, like
mentioning his music as one of weak points of movie, if it had flopped..and so
on..

Hi there.
Does anybody has the data of the ARR's movise or other
albums regarding its cassettes and cd's sale ? Some of the member
here have each and every information regarding arr & his music, so
may be someone has the record of this too. This is very important
question because all the music directors create music because they
want their music (cassettes & cd) to sale as much as possible, so is
our boss. And we don't have the record.
What I would like to know is the following things...
1. Highest selling album of india (movie & private album) their names
and how much.
2. Our boss's top ten selling albums (hindi & tamil)its name and how
much.
3. Highest selling album in tamil film industry.
If anyone has information regarding this then plz plz help me. It
would be very much informative for me and other members of this
group. I think this question would have arrived atleast once in our
mind.
I know the sale of 'Taal' it was 75 lacks cassettes and 2.5 lacks cds
had sold. I read this in some magazine 3 or 4 years ago.
