Zehereela- This is a classic in the making from ar rehman, he has sung the entire song, it is a slow number will take time to grow, reminds me of dil se and saawariya song ek paari 2. tuhi Toh Mera dost hai - Starts with a band in the beggining, but goes low on notes, its too slow in the middle for 15-20sec. The song is soft, gives your pleasure to the ears, the song will do pretty good, but again its a slow number which will be liked by oldies, not by youngsters 3.DIL DIL MIL JAANE DE- reminds me of yaadein, yeh dil mile aare hoo, its a great song, the beats in the end are amazing and clever use of pianos 4. MASTAM MASTAM- i think this is the best song in the whole album, its very fast paced, easy to the ears, i must say that this is one of those that gives you a international feeling to it, great work and amazing lyrics by gulzar 5. TU MUSKURA- this song has a disco feeling to it, like hip hopp of european+ indian, another chartbuster 6. Zindagi Zindagi- this looks like a emotional song, maybe this is the song places on anil kapoor since he is playing a retarted guy in the film, but again great composion from gulzar, the interesting thing is all the songs are impressive and the lyrics and the background music is impressive with the great use of pianos and the music is totally international Overall- The Music stands up to the hype and holla and i paid 8 bucks to just buy the damn music, but guess what the album is worth the price, each and every song is different, wtih amazing lyrics and the background score of the film is amazing, the last 4 instrumentals themes are the bomb, they remind me of taal instrumetal themes, Thank you Ar rehman+ gulzar for giving us the best album since dil chata hain and kabhi khuski kabhi, hell it beats dil chata hai and k3g all the way with the lyrics, the songs are slow, if you like slow songs this is for you, some songs wil take time to grow. overall 9.5/10 For gulzar and ar.
