Well said man,
Though i don't have deep knowledge of music, yet I can add some to
your genius write-up:

This song is surely the best song of album.
My first opinion was 'Zindagi' but as we all know, opinions do change
when you listen ARR's album again and again.
The variety of instruments used, ups and down of tunes, everything
makes this song legendary.
But the most legendary thing about 'Mastam' is Sonu Nigam's voice.

And the lines where they sing... 'Mamla badhega, kachahari lagegi,
muqadama chalega'.... Ohhhh my god, i feel blessed when I hear that part.

This song surely is the trademark Rahman song. I think there should
officially be a genre called 'Rahmanish song'.

Pravinder.
