when i was watching "the legends of music" the other day, the interviewer
asked a very tricky yet sensible question on an important aspect of music.
she asked ARR if he gets musical block. ARR genuinely answered, s there were
instances he had to handle musical block but during those instances he would
carry out the other part of the creating a song.. i.e percussions, mixing
etc...
this afternoon when i was humming "minnale" song from may madham
something immediately struck when i was humming "vaarthai vara kaathirukum
kavigan illaya" [(isn't there a poet/lyricist waiting for a word strike his
mind (to pen down a poem?)]... what happens when a lyricist faces this
situation in front of a director or MD? oh, that's bad...

musical block should be a real enemy for any music director and after
watching the interview i just understood ARR is no exception from this
phenomenon. this musical genius is also a normal human being in one context
and directors, producers and fans tend to play with his patience every now
and then... may be ARR can use the shelved songs when he gets any sort of
musical block... i hate those directors who reserve those shelved song for
their future and never think about it again.

Mr.Ghai will u ever try to release that motherland songs? huh... and this
man, was almost complaining in the NDTV interview that ARR took more time to
compose music for his movie...yuvvraaj is the answer; i m going to wait...
