Yes, but showing more preference to Hindi films is not wrong. I think ARR judges films according to the merits of script/film-maker rather than just language. It is evident, that he got to work with some of the good film-makers on the scene today. I am sure he would give significance to tamil films too, provided more tamil film-makers approach him with interesting stories and not run-of-the-mill ones. what is the point in composing music for just some film which doesnt excite/challenge him. Not all film-makers are good enough. And not all good film-makers approach ARR. So, there are several factors which act like filters you see. Lets keep our eyes and ears open to music...and music does not have language.
