Dark Knight is good but has hangovers of Hans Zimmer's previous works in The Da Vinci Code and The last Samurai. Its cuz of Newton Howard that the music has some life in it. Else it does not offer anything new.
Wall E should be one helluva competition for SDM. Again havent heard BB yet.
