This is how I tag my mp3s:
1. Artist - Singers
2. Album artist - A R Rahman
3. Composer - A R Rahman
4. Genre - Soundtrack
5. Name of the song - Name of the song

In many places in US, artist is generally the main composer and singer. But I
generally add A. R. Rahman as artist for all my ARR mp3s.
