A.R.Rahman had already composed very good music for films like Bombay. His music for " Elizabeth 2 " was very different. He should have got an oscar for that film itself. But Slumdog Millionaire 's music has surpassed all of the above. The music has crossed all expectations and has fitted the film very perfectly. Hence, A.R.Rahman would certainly win the Oscars.
