When Minister for Local Affairs, Stalin said, " A.R.Rahman has composed music for various Tamil, Hindi movies, and has won a lot of awards for them, and has won the prestigous Golden Globe Award for Slumdog Millionaire, and on the basis of creating a new concept for Indian music, he has also been nominated for the Oscars, and for taking the name and fame of Tamil Nadu to heights across the world.
