Asin Thottumkal is having the time of her life with the grand entry she made into Bollywood last year with* Ghajini*. The latest news is the actress is getting ready to be trained in the ancient martial arts form of Kerala, Kalaripayattu, for her film *The 19th Step* with Kamal Haasan. Asin will be seen playing the role of a warrior princess in this big-budget martial arts thriller. It is being produced by Bharat Bala Productions in collaboration with Hollywood production house Walt Disney. "Asin will be trained in Kalaripayattu by an instructor from Kerala. Her character in the film is seen protecting this art from dying. Currently, she is shooting for Vipul Shah's *London Dreams* with Salman Khan. So she will be going to Kerala — her home state — probably in June to learn this art form," says a source. Coming back to *The 19th Step*, the production will start in Kerala sometime in August. It will be directed by Bharat Bala, famous for his* Vande Mataram *and *Jana Gana Mana *music videos with A. R. Rahman.
