Very weird Question.

Can there ever be a Single 'Finest' or 'Best' entity in any field? I dont
really think so. It is like asking 'Is Maniratnam the Finest Director?' or 'Is
Violin the Finest instrument?' or 'Is Rasgulla the Best Sweet ever?" or "Is
Kerala the the finest Holiday destination?" etc etc.

Wish people showed some maturity in acknowledging talent and using appropriate
definite words such as 'One of The Finest' or 'Best in this Era' or something.
Questions like these need definite boundaries so that people can have definite
opinions (whatever they might be).

If we say Yes, then what can we say about 'Ustad Zakir Hussain' who just won a
Grammy?

Wish the question was more confined, to genre or era or things like that so
that controversies could be avoided.

Well, who had the highest percentage of votes around that time? Did
they have a choice?
