A non-ARR general query. A long part of SDM at the beginning had hindi dialogs, not even dubbed but subtitled in English.
Still, the film got qualified for main oscar, and not as a foreign language film like Lagaan and Water. So, how much non-English is allowed in a film for it to go to main Oscars instead of foreign language film? -- Once, a film goes to main Oscar, instead of in foreign language category, its music (lyrics actually) can be in any language to get nominated to music categories?
