Balachander had put the name of Sekar in his movie " Naanal". In future, the same Balachander produced and Maniratnam directed " Roja", and his son became the Music Composer. What an Union. Once when Shekhar went to Mumbai, he wanted to catch a glimpse of famous Musician " Naushad " from a distance. His desire and dream didnt get fulfilled. The same Naushad came to his most loved son Rahman's residence and this wasnt foreseen by Shekhar at that moment. Seeing Shekhar's Musical Talents, S.D. Burman invited him to Bollywood for composing music. But he didnt go.
