This is early news...and the contract still needs to be signed.
But talks are currently on for a JAI HO concert this Oct-Nov in Dubai. This might be considered too soon by Rahman standards considering one just took place exactly a year back at Sharjah. But obviously we have the organisers trying to cash in on the JAI HO mania and hopefully target a more global audience this time around. Afterall now he shall be coming back as Oscar winner Rahman :-) Anyways, good news for all gulf Rahmaniacs. And with an upgraded playlist that would include hits from Slumdog, Jaane Tu, Ghajini, Delhi 6 and Yuvraaj...this is great news. Once again, the talks are still in the early stages. Hopefully a confirmation might come along somewhere this week.
