R. Rahman, legendary Indian Music composer. This event will be held on Sunday, August 2nd 2009. Doors open at 3:30 pm. Concert from 4 pm until 6:15 pm. Jashn-E-Rahman is an eclectic and popular collection of songs spanning the discography of ARR's Hindi music compositions. Tickets are now available for purchase at http://www.easternwinds.org for the remarkably low price of $10 each (plus transaction fees charged by merchant Paypal processing the sale). For online purchases, you can collect your tickets at the will-call booth on the day of the event. All seats are priced equally with open seating. There are no reserved seats. Admission is free for infants and children who do not occupy a seat. This concert has only a limited number of seats, so please purchase yours early. Purchasing your ticket early helps our band make better logistical plans. It also motivates the artists to see the audience growing. There is now an even better reason for you to purchase early. For every ticket purchased before Sunday July 26th midnight, EasternWinds will donate $1 from each ticket to a worthy cause - sponsoring a child's education costs. We will maintain a running count of the tickets bought on our website, and hand over the check to the NPO.
