My most favorite part of Rahman's music is his crescendos - the way he
dabbles around, teases you, taunts you, teases you some more, taunts you
some more - and then suddenly there it is - the peak, mostly followed
by emptiness or silence, or sometimes he just carries on as if nothing
happened. I think this is one of his favorites too as he seems to try to
incorporate this wherever possoble.

Awright, for official purposes, I need to change my stance from "My most
favorite part" to "One of my most favorite parts" since there are, first
of all, too many parts to love and then there is too many favorite
parts... - the bass (he probably was the first one to introduce bass in
almost all of his songs), new singers, versatality, OCD to some extent
in some (to actually most) of his songs, fusion (that I've craved from
my childhood) - esp carnatic and hindustani music with western beats.

Some samples of crescendos (from recent songs - since I can't seem to
remember what I ate for dinner last night!!). Please add to these and
also let me know your favorite crescendo(s).
