Her voice crossed her native borders, Kerala and when on to capture other states. Besides Malayalam, she has sung for different languages like Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Oriya, Assamese and Bengali! Numerous movies, innumerable songs. Chithra has always remained a music director’s favourite playback singer. She not only captured maximum number of listeners but also holds maximum number of awards than any female singer has ever achieved! Did you know that she is has earned six National film awards?
