Sorry, I have not recorded this. They spoke mostly about R K Shekhar and ARR. They said that R K Shekhar was so much engrossed in his music that he didn't have much time for his family and also could not earn much. They also said that before Roja happened, ARR had joined a band consisting of a guitarist (I think name was Jhony), drummer Sivamani. ARR invited MG Sreekumar to sing a carnatic and western fusion in this band and they had booked shows in America. But then it never happened because ARR got busy with Roja.
Chitra also mentioned about ARR helping his father to finalise the pallavi for a song when he was 8 yrs old and the song went "Vellin then kinnam pol". I think somebody has mentioned about this earlier in our group. All of them commented about ARR's style of recording and the freedom to improvise that he provided to the singers. Sharath remarked that R K Shekhar didnt earn any wealth during his lifetime but what more wealth does he need when he has such a talented and humane son.
