The soundtrack is kind of age restricted in terms of appeal....mostly the youth will enjoy it (very Western, rock, jazz). Unlike recent albums like D6, Yuvvraaj, Jodha Akbar, Ada, and even some parts of Ghajini which was widely received by young and old, I don't feel that most people over age 50 will take to Blue's music (lack of Indian classical influence). I could be wrong, though. Only exception would be the song "Yaar Mila" which would appeal to anyone young or old.
But, I know that's the way it is with action/thriller soundtracks in general today. BLUE ROCKS.....and I'm very happy that I'm young enough to enjoy it!!!!
