TIRUMALA: The TTD is contemplating to approach Indian music sensation and the prestigious Oscar awardee A.R. Rahman to compose music to the lyrics of the saint poet Annamacharya, who had sung over 33,000 songs in the praise of Lord Venkateswara. Disclosing this to the media persons, TTD chairman D.K. Adikesavulu said that even though it is only a ‘thought’, the TTD would not hesitate to approach the music maestro for a detailed discussion on the subject. The TTD already is in the process of getting readied a set of compositions of Annamacharya being rendered by Lata Mangeskar.
