Amjad Ali KHan is nominated for his album "Ancient sounds" while A.R.Rahman has been nominated for "Slumdog Millionaire" in 2 categories. Amjad Ali Khan composed his album with Iraqi American Rahim Alhaj in which there are 7 songs, all written by him himself. A.R.Rahman is nominated for "Best Song written for Motion Picture" and "Best Compilation Soundtrack for Motion Picture". A.R.Rahman will be competing with singer and musician Brunce Springstein who has also been nominated for his work in "Once in a lifetime". 92nd Grammy Award Function will take place in LA on January 31, 2010.
