Nominations just like the starscreen awards. The filmfare takes into account popularity and that would depend on how the film did at the box office. That is why pritam has a good chance f wiunning. His music was very popula. But in fairness to him, one of albums Tum Mile is well created music (hoping that no aligations of plagarism pop up). But Rahman won the Starscreen for Delhi 6. Hoping that Amit Trivedi will win background score. But the Background score for Three idiots was really good. Agree that India needs wards lke the Grammies and need a general award function with more credibiliy like the oscars.
