Anmol Bhave, a Yahoo Group member, Chief of The Wandering Souls
"RAHMANIA" and a disciple of our Guruji has been chosen for NATIONAL AWARD by
Government of India for Best Sound for a film "GANDH" ( in Marathi ) !
This is Anmol's second National Award for Best Sound. He received his first
award for his FTII graduation film "CLOSURE" 3 years back.
Anmol also did Music Direction and Sound for a childrens film in Kannada
"GUBBACHIGALU" and also did sound for another FTII graduation film "THREE OF
US". Incidently BOTH these films received NATIONAL AWARDs for best films in
their category !
Directly or indirectly this is a hattrick of sorts for Anmol !
Anmol owes his success to AR Rahman. Though Anmol is a Mechanical Engineer, the
field of SOUND ENGINEERING attracted him the most after exposed to the unique
sound of ARRahman's music and he has chosen SOUND ENGINEERING as his career now.
Anmol claims that every performance of his show RAHMANIA opens up a new
treasure into Rahman's unique Sound Engineering skills and Anmol admits that on
the scale of ARR, he has a long way to go......
On behalf of the Yahoo group, I congratulate Anmol and wish him even more
success in his future assignments.
I am sure Guruji ARR must be happy with his talented disciple.... ..
