I have an another argument. and you can trust me on this because one of the
aspects of my business is social networking and social marketing.

Orkut is not popular in anywhere else than India and Brazil. in fact, orkut
is considered as the weakest product google has ever done. Plus, India has
a lot of net-users compared to brazil. (
http://www.internetworldstats.com/top20.htm - India is just above brazil.)

so, it is impossible to conclude that AR rahman is more popular than the
others mentioned because it has a very less users base compared to facebook
and myspace.

But the truth is, AR Rahman's fan base is growing rapidly on facebook - the
most successful social network.

now, that is really something.
