How do we know that the 5.5 cr figure is even true? It was reported once in the
same 'I concoct things as I go' Indian media and everyone is treating it like
the gospel truth?

for me, this whole CWG song thing shows the true colors of Indian politics
and media.

they don't mind making a big issue out of a trivial thing like the theme
music.. but they can't even organize the event properly.

it's as if they all were of waiting for an opportunity to bash rahman while
both the opposition and the government has shown that they are nothing but
idiots.

I want to say a lot of things about all these things we read in the media..
but that will probably have 10 times more profanities than the Scarface
movie. lol

so, i am just accepting the fact that India only works this way. our
government, media and politicians like to blame each other like they always
do in the parliament. we are third world and with these kind of people in
media and politics, we will stay that way forever.

while I loved the CWG song.. i too think that the 5.5 cr was a bit too much
to spend for a song and performance. they should probably have focused more
on how to manage the event and bad press. i didn't mean that AR didn't
deserve it. but, it's a lot of money for a country like India and common
men will think that it was a rip off.

we fans here don't think of it as a big issue as we love him. but it is
still an issue.

Plus, for an event like these people will except more glamor and obviously
that is also the reason why people were put off by the song. that is the
reason why everyone is now comparing it to Waka Waka.

I have a lot more to say about this whole stinking politics. but this is not
the forum for that. so, this here is my last post about CWG song. and
hoping that this won't affect AR's reputation and respect that he truly
deserves.
