thanks for the link. i just watched the HD video of ARRs performance at Oscar with a decent quality earphones. ofcourse the song was pre-orchestrated. there were some vocals in the song that did not account for live singers but i did not hear sukhwinder's voice in any bit of it.
there may be other reasons on which sukhwinder could have pointed out, but his concern on this aspect sounds really childish. if it was not right to do at the oscar stage, they wouldn't have let it happen in the first hand. btw, can anyone translate the three options presented in the jai ho question?
