Title: Whatsup --> Remedy
**
I have
just done an integration from our NMS to Remedy that fires on NMS event
generation and raises Remedy tickets for specified events - this could be a
server event. The integration connects to the NMS event handler and
waits for events to be sent to it, then uses the Remedy API to connect with
the AR server and create the new entries in the relevant
form(s).
If you
have the Remedy documentation for the API then you can get started in either
Java, C, perl etc. There is now a good C++ wrapper call RTL that is
available at sourceforge if you're a C programmer and want to be relieved of the
nitty gritty of the C API functions, memory handling etc.
