We also looked at products from those companies (Hello to Pratik, Anoop and Martin at Aeroprise). Because of cost I was asked to create an ASP.Net application to see if tickets could be updated via BlackBerries. It worked and that is what we use today.
Regarding "I'm still trying to get help with getting Remedy to work on the one test pocket pc device we have", are you running a Remedy Mid-Tier application or something that was created using the Remedy API? The costs for most of what we found for hardware, software, implementation, training, etc was in the $20,000 range. For that cost, you could purchase laptops with wireless cards and get Remedy via the web for cheaper. True, the laptops wouldn't fit in your pocket, but if what you really want is access to enter, modify, or delete tickets, it is quicker and cheaper. I'm still trying to get help with getting Remedy to work on the one test pocket pc device we have. ________________________________________________________________________ _______ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at http://www.wwrug.org _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at http://www.wwrug.org
