Chris,

My understanding is that 6.3 is capable of supporting uni-code at the
database level.  6.3 server is not uni-code compliant.  Thus the need
for 2 servers pointing to the same AR System instance.

7.0 server is uni-code compliant but seems that there was a bug in the
7.0 upgrade.  A patch to correct the uni-code issue is supposed to be
released next month.

We are looking at using Chinese and Japanese with our Western European
characters but we're holding off until the 7.0.1 patch is released
before we upgrade from 6.3.  I understand that there is also a potential
issue if someone with a Chinese WUT would modify a record that was
created with Japanese characters.

Because of the all the interactions we're observing and moving slowly.
