Software Develop Analyst II

Provide software solutions that meet current requirements with the flexibility to adhere to future requirements and enhancements. Plan, coordinate and manage team projects. To design, develop, implement, enhance and maintain automated information processing systems within a team oriented organization. Uphold the quality and integrity of all automated application systems so as to ensure all assigned tasks conform with and follow a pre-defined strategic direction.

Analysts dissect, separate, and examine the relationships of information through close investigation. Employees typically examine one or more phases of a particular company issue or opportunity in order to discover the nature, extent, and causes. Data/Information is interpreted, translated, reported and meaningful conclusions are drawn. Recommendations made typically affect work results of a department/organization to a noticeable degree.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

3 year system design, 7 years programming and 5 years analysis. Telecom experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or 12 years experience.

   

This position is accountable for custom development, administration and integration of Remedy Action Request System. Responsibilities include working independently or within a team to gather customer requirements, prepare analysis documentation, application development, end user support and system maintenance. This position responds to user requests for reporting or enhancements to system capabilities. Current working knowledge of SQL databases, software design, and system administration is required. Previous experience in a technical support environment would be preferred. Technical proficiency in relevant operating systems, applications and programming languages is required: Remedy Action Request System 5.1 & 6.3, Remedy Mid-Tier, Microsoft Windows Server, UNIX, MS SQL Server 2000/2005, Development, Administration, Web-based application development with .NET, VB .NET, C# .NET, Web services, Data access.

Additional programming experience or certification desired but not required: Java, Remedy Approved Consultant (RAC), Remedy Skilled Professional (RSP) certification, Advanced Remedy training classes.
