Doug, This is exactly what happens when you do
not select another row in the pool before clicking the Add button. You have to
click the row below the file column header (far left column)—clicking
under any other column will not allow selection of the row. The individual row
permissions must be set as well as the overall attachment pool. Since you are
not selecting a different row in the pool, it prompts to see whether you want
to replace the existing file. It doesn’t sound like anything is
wrong. You need to verify the permissions for each row of the pool, make sure
you are opening the page in submit mode, and make sure you are selecting the
row beneath the file column header before clicking the add button. Unless it’s
one of these things, I’m not sure what to tell you since it should work.
If it’s working for the first row, you’ve confirmed it works as
expected so my guess would be the additional rows in the pool do not have the
proper permissions or you are not clicking in the pool under the proper header. Craig From: Action Request

Rocky, Michelle, Craig, et al., It's
not a permissions issue and yes, we're using the built-in Add, Delete, &
Display buttons. The
browser interface doesn't enable selecting a row in the pool. One can click
wherever one wants and nothing is highlighted inside the pool. The first
click on the pool causes the buttons to appear. The
result of the first invocation of the Add button is an attachment displayed in
the top row of the "pool." A second invocation of the Add button
results in a dialog asking whether one wants to replace the first attachment
with the newly specified one. It's
not my application, so I won't carry the investigation any further at this
point. I'll be interested to see whether the issue evaporates when we
(eventually) upgrade to 6.3 or 7.x ARS. Thanks
for your ideas! original
