How are you planning on creating your notifications?

We simply enter the text how we want in the body and insert the fields we
want in the order we want them. If you open the entry window, you can enter
carriage returns and format the mail any way you want including any of the
fields you want from the form.

You don't need to use the field pick list or use a template. Enter the body
of your email message as you see fit.

Subject: HD 6.0 - Email Engine 6.3

On page 92 of the email engine manual it talks about field order in the
notifications. Basically it says that the fields are placed in the
notification the same way they were in the older versions. X and Y etc...

On page 99, to confuse the issue even more... "If no template is used for
the Content, the order of the fields included in an email notification is
strictly based upon their arrangement in the form view."

So, my question is... do I need to create a view of the form called
"ARNotifications" the same way I did in 4.5.2? They don't mention it
anywhere so far.

If all I want to send are plain text email notifications, do I need the
"ARNotifications" view or should I still create/use a template?

I never thought I would say this, but I'm going to miss the old email
version!
