Hi Doug, Thanks for your response. We tried this solution and it works.
Actually, two types of users want to work in Remedy. First one who want to display their data to all users (No row level access to their tickets) and other one who want, not to display their data to others(Strongly need row level access to their records). We can manage row level access by setting permission (only for submitter, assign to,assignee group) on request id field. But how can we manage the first one situation where some tickets will be visible to all with the other one ? One idea in our mind is: Let us take two groups A and B. In group A include all remedy users and include in group B only some specific users who wants row level access on their data and now set the value in assignee group field (field id=112) as per requirement. But the only difficult thing in this option is to manage Group A(for all users) every time. Do you see any other better solution ? Please share. It is a matter of leveraging the Assignee Group field (112) (HPD:Help Desk & SHR:ConsolidatedList)and adding a few filters. Contact me for additional details. It restricts search only when user is not having read license without APP-Support group configured in user's profile. Our need is to show the helpdesk records only to it's requester and to the all valid group's members of that ticket. So we need some row level type access on helpdesk form. Can we use row-level access on helpdesk by using Remedy ? If anybody knows then please share your valuable points.
