Peter, there are TONS of cheap and functional Bar code scanning applications out there. I wouldn't focus so much on those on the front end as much as I would look at the back end to ensure that it will be easy to interface/migrate/transfer its information into something your Remedy applications can use. I know you're not using CMDB right now, but when you get there, it will be of far greater importance. Rick
