Our client is looking for a consultant who has an understanding of IT Service 
management. They are looking for a resource to provide high level support for 
all security and configuration management technologies, procedures and 
processes. The goal of this project is to assure IT Senior leadership that 
their baselining, configuration and service management operations meet the 
specified requirements within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and have a 
positive impact to customers, associates and technology infrastructure.
Duties include:
* Lead in the implementation of security baselines and configuration management 
of systems and servers utilizing group policy, Microsoft Security Compliance 
Manager and manual registry and configuration settings.
* Responsible for the management and administration of internal Configuration 
Management procedures.
* Helps ensure that corporate security configuration management baseline 
project timelines are met and that corporate devices comply with internally 
established baselines.
* Provides support to technical personnel in other teams in the proactive and 
continuous implementation of pre-stablished security baselines, configuration 
and service management processes.
* Helps ensure that corporate risk is progressively minimized by continuously 
expanding and enhancing security baselines and utilizing service management, 
patch and configuration systems.
* Provides regular reporting on service management and baseline configuration 
state and progress.
* Assists in the communication between Information Security vulnerability 
management resources, Audit team and Infrastructure Technology configuration 
management, patch and vulnerability resources.
* Works closely with other departments within IT to ensure that all set 
configurations and security baselines have been met.
* Participates in the implementation of disaster recovery and business 
continuity procedures.
* Provides input with regard to configuration, service management and security 
baseline policies and procedures.
Requirements:
•         Strong to expert knowledge of and experience with implementation and 
management of configuration management and security baselines
•         Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) based on ITIL best practices
•         Knowledge of CIS, NIST and / or USGCB security baselines
•         Managing and creating Group Policy Object
•         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•         In-depth knowledge of Windows server 2008 and 2012 as well as 
Workstation configuration / troubleshooting for Windows 7, Internet Protocols, 
baselines and registry troubleshooting
•         Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook/Exchange
•         Knowledge of change and Configuration Management (CMDB), change, 
service request and asset management. Experience with ServiceNow tool.
