Hi Howard, what do you mean with "without ITSM"? BMC Asset Management is a part of the ITSM Suite. AM needs the BMC Atrium CMDB. Basically it should be possible to buy the license for the AR System, the Atrium CMDB, for the Asset Management Application and the floating and fixed users for AR System and the Asset Management application. During installation of ITSM you then can choose only the Asset Management Application to be installed. But the ITSM Foundation Objects will always be installed on your system. With the installer of ITSM all ITSM application objects are deliverd - so why not install all of them? Usable later on are only the licensed applications. HTH Rüdiger
