A quick question to those who went this route when migration OS.

Need to migrate Linux Redhat form v5 to v6. I have three ARS8.0 servers in
a server group. To minimize installation time (ARS+ITSM+SLM+SRM…) using a
fresh database, I am thinking may be best to set up a new machine with v6
install ARS as part of the server group (server group option) and use the
existing shared database, once the new node is configured etc , I unplug
one of the old servers and do the same for the rest.

Does the ITSM installer have the shared option as well so to avoid
overwriting the DB?

Any problems having v5 and v6 of Linux in the same server group?

Regards

frex
