Quick response - Some first things to check/try

   1. Is your reporting server on a separate machine from your application
server? If not, can it be moved?
   2. Do you have any scheduled reports that are running during peak hours?
If so, can they be moved to off-hours?
   3. Do you have any reports that are running large, non-indexed queries?
If so, can the queried fields be indexed?

Check Remedy docs for "database tuning" - this has had had excellent
coverage of reporting issues previously.
