Hi Amit,

The issue is that there are some registry entries which have to be changed to
the location of the new java version.

To fix this issue, search the value of “JVM Library” in the registry, on the
server which is running the email engine.

Change the value of “JVM Library” to the new location of JAVA. (Eg. C:\Program
Files\Java\jre1.8.0_91\bin\server\jvm.dll)

You will also need to do the same for Flashboards

Hope this helps

Are you able to start it with emailstart.bat file? Is new Java compatible with
the AR/Email Server?

Hello All,

We have done Java upgrade and now AR email service is not coming up. When we
try to start it getting below error :

The BMC Remedy Email Engine - <Server Name> 2 service on local computer started
and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by
other services or programs.”

Could you please help us to resolve this issue?

Regards,

Amit
