** Hello, I've experienced this message mostly when a huge amount of data is transferred back to the client, e.g. 20k data sets in HPD:Help Desk... Each data set runs through the AL logic. What is behind this button? refresh table field? open form and show results? Ho much data do you expect should be transferred? The "thick" client - or native client user tool, I assume you have 7.6 or lower - processed ALs and data differently than a web browser. So one possible point could be try narrowing down the search that is (possibly) run by the button.
