Hello In our case it was the servicenow vendor who did the migration for one few instance(customer at a go) But for one we had to import the data via excel.. its easier to do it servicenow Related custom code.. you have to do it again and we have JavaScript on servicenow...plus point will be the workflows which allows you to design the process in a flow
