I've seen this on the 6.3 systems, but since/after we were at patch 17,
if the DB goes away, ARServer reconnects automagically. Sometimes
Escalation dies though :-(

 

Have your DBA look at the SQL Server Logs to determine the network / DB
error.

Subject: Strange SQL Error

 

ARS 6.3

Windows 2003

SQL Server 2000

 

For awhile we have been receiving this error on our dev system...when it
occurs it happens every 30 seconds...a bounce of the arsystem service
brings dev back to functionality...remedy resides on separate box from
db...any suggestions?
