I'm in the same boat except that I am trying ZEN to CMDB2 and ASSET 7.
Lot's of mapping either way.

I started by getting a DB link to the zen db and then creating view
forms to the ZEN tables run escalations that populate the CMDB. (Still
a work in progress)

It's like doing the EIE via code rather then a GUI that EIE is.

EIE with either SQL Server or Oracle Link will give you the ability to
build your own integration. Since you said Asset 6 you may need to go to
CMDB 20 to use the latest version that works with CMDB.

Subject: ZenWorks Integration

** Hi all,

Has anyone done an integration with ZenWorks and Asset Management 6.0?
I have learned that BMC does not have a built-in integration. I was
wondering if Novell has one. I am trying to tie Novell's asset
discovery program to the Asset Management. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks!
