Programmer Analyst Sr. - Request Management Systems RMS is Walgreens Remedy development team working with ARS 6.3 that supports the internal Help Desk and many other departments. Tasks will include development, implementation, problem resolution, administration and maintenance of existing and new Remedy applications. The RMS team also develops Web clients in C and JAVA, which interact with the Remedy applications.
Be actively involved in the full software development cycle. Conduct requirement analysis sessions. Provide solution designs based on the requirements. Develop and support Remedy ARS applications used by various Walgreen departments. Apply experience and knowledge of Remedy to assist in the implementation and enhancement of projects. Support business needs by troubleshooting problems and resolving them in a timely manner. This position reports to the RMS Team Manager. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience; Position requires C or JAVA development experience with SQL programming. Will train in Remedy, if necessary. Candidates with Remedy development experience but not C or JAVA, will be considered. Candidate must be self-motivated, able to work alone or as a member of a team. Good communication skills required to work with business users, consultants and other developers to gather requirements, convey application standards and drive issues to resolution.
