I'm an Oracle guy,new to Remedy, but in oracle I'd do where ticket_id >
max(ticket_id) - N

Does remedy have a max function?

**
I'd probably be looking in the area of loading the lastID from the
database (hint sql select statement), taking "n" away from it and then
piping it to a query like

ticket-id > "n"

taking into account the prefixes etc. May not be possible in macro's but
eminently do-able in workflow / display-only form....

Hello,

=20

I posted this question before and it did not elicit any responses.
Therefore, I asked BMC support and the response I received was, "I am
sorry I just dont know of a way you can limit the returned entires."
(punctuation and spelling errors left intact).

=20

The question was:

=20

How would I go about querying the last "N" tickets? Meaning, I'd like to
create a macro (or know the syntax) with a variable ("N") to pull up
just the last 10, 20, 50, 100 , etc. records recently created.

=20

Can anyone help answer if this is do-able or not?

=20

Thanks,

Richard
