POSITION SUMMARY The successful candidate will be working as a member of the Remedy Systems Group responsible for developing, operating and supporting the Remedy corporate workflow application systems that shape the IT, Corporate, Operations & Support environments. This includes the BMC Remedy Action Request System platform, BMC Remedy Mid-Tier platform, BMC Remedy Email Engine, ITSM & CMDB platforms as well as custom developed applications running on UNIX & Windows. The position requires the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced, technical environment. He/She will be responsible for interacting with various areas of the IT department & other Business Units to ensure high level of service offering & delivery for our internal and users. In addition to the core BMC Remedy developer responsibilities, the candidate will also have responsibility for operational management, upgrades, patching, testing, and systems integration. The candidate will work in a team alongside other experienced BMC Remedy developers and architects. Our company uses out of the box Remedy applications as well as large scale custom applications to support both internal and external customers. This person will be required to facilitate analysis needs & requirements analysis, document functional specifications & design documents and complete development work in a controlled change and release management environment. Being part of a rotating on-call support process may be required as well.
